Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a hospital-based respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit, requiring 1-2 years of experience and active Oklahoma licensure.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Graduate of a CoARC or CAAHP accredited respiratory therapy education program
- A.S. degree required; B.S. degree preferred
- Minimum of 20 quarter hours of science coursework
- 1-2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license required for consideration
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NBRC (RRT or CRT)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
