Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 1+ year of ED experience, multiple AHA certifications, and an active CO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license — Colorado single state or Compact license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS — all must be active and not expire prior to start
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, delegated medical functions, and patient referrals as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• BSN is preferred but not required
