Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730)
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP — all certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
• ACLS or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Executes delegated medical functions and reviews therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• RTO requests will be approved within reason
