Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730)
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP — all certifications must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
- ACLS or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Executes delegated medical functions and reviews therapy and treatment plans
- Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
- RTO requests will be approved within reason
