Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and telemetry proficiency in a hospital setting.

Details

Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
Every other weekend required
Patient ratio of 1:5-6
Remote telemetry monitoring may be required
Floating to other Med/Surg units as needed
Charting via Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
Orientation held every Monday

Requirements

Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry experience required
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Local candidates are accepted

Always floating, no home unit. Schedule can get crazy, don't know your unit until shift start usually. Would be rough for a 1st contract.
