Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift contract role at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, performing both CT and X-ray procedures.

Details

• Work in the CT department of a 59-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Performs both CT and X-ray imaging
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend overnight shifts required: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)
• No on-call required
• No floating between units within this facility
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Charting via Epic (required)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• X-ray experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Active state license required, if applicable
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable; scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units
• No parking fee
• RTO should be minimal; any time-off requests must be addressed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
