Pros

Night shift RNs do help each other with pts. Friendly. Director is easy to work with.

Cons

Patient ratios are high not what is reported. Nights has no techs, no transport, no phlebotomy.ER RN transports all pts to the floors, CT etc. Often will not have a repeating schedule each week. You truly fill the shifts they need and it changes frequently. Difficult to make plans.
