Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Tucson, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of experience and proficiency with STEMI response and high-risk equipment.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab in Tucson, AZ
- 13-week travel contract
- Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call requirement of 7–9 shifts per month, including one weekend per month, with the option to pick up additional call
- 30-minute response time to the hospital required for STEMI call
- Patient ratio is 3:1
- Procedures include circulating, monitoring, and working with STEMI, EP, and IR cases
- Experience with high-risk equipment including Impella, IABP, and Anari required
- Floating to an affiliate facility location in Tucson may be required
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required; at least 3 years preferred
- Hands-on experience with circulating, monitoring, STEMI response, and high-risk equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari) required
- Electrophysiology (EP) and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
- Experienced travelers preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Candidates must not have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
