Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) night shift position in Dover, NH, requiring 2 years of ED experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Dover, NH with 11 beds
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Unit staffing includes 2 RNs on night shift (7p–7a), with a matrix ranging from 2–3 RNs depending on time of day
• Patient ratios vary based on census
• Charting is performed in Meditech
• Floating may be required to Portsmouth ED and Seabrook ED
• Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities
• Full-service emergency department procedures performed

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC, and TNCC
• CPI certification required (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience in a hospital setting required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Experience in an FSED environment is preferred
• CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certification is a plus
• The ideal candidate is independent, autonomous, a critical thinker, adaptable, and possesses strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
