Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and the ability to read cardiac telemetry strips.
Details
- Work in a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit (Pingree 5)
- Adult medical patient population
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
- Night shift schedule, 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within the facility
- Shift rotation required as needed to cover open night shifts, with a few rotations per month
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only — no other providers accepted)
- Current AHA ACLS certification required (AHA only — no other providers accepted)
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is recommended
- 13-week contract
