American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Salem, VA.

Details

Located in a Special Procedures unit at an acute care hospital in Salem, VA
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
13-week travel contract

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Special Procedures or Interventional Radiology
Active experience within the last 6 months in the role is required
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
License required if applicable
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

I come from the ICU so I don’t know if it was my lack of PCU experience but it feels like I have to BEG to the point of calling a rapid to have the residents and providers take initiative.
