Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 18 months of permanent specialty experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- May float to other med/surg telemetry units and the ED to care for the same patient population
- Holiday coverage required for at least every other holiday
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry prior to any travel assignments
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required (travel experience counts toward this requirement)
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation; passing scores on both are required
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any facility location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before returning to the same location
