Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a CT Scan position requiring proficiency in CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CTs.

Details

• Outpatient/ambulatory care setting within a multi-specialty health system
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend shifts possible as needed
• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures including CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CTs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active CA Radiologic Technology license required if applicable
• Active CA Fluoroscopy license required if applicable
• Proficiency with CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CT procedures
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs both routine and specialized CT procedures, producing diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
• Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• May assist with orienting other staff to the department
• Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
