Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU/PCU Day Shift position at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, requiring at least 3 years of experience and a current WA or compact RN license.

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• ICU/PCU unit with Med-Surg float responsibilities as needed
• Day shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Experience in ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg settings required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient education, safety monitoring, infection control, accurate documentation, physician order management, and emergency cart maintenance
• Must demonstrate safe operation of equipment used in PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg areas
• Responsible for providing complete and accurate shift-change reports and timely communication of critical lab values
• Floating to the Med-Surg Unit (MSU) is required as needed
