Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a seasonal Labor & Delivery travel position requiring a compact or CO RN license and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.
Details
- Hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds, 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
- Unit staffed with RNs, CSTs, charge nurses, and flex staff across day and night shifts
- Patient ratio of 2:1
- Uses Centricity and GE monitoring equipment
- EMR system is Meditech / CPN
- Performs vaginal and c-section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions
- Cares for high-risk OB patients
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or CO state license required)
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care L&D hospital experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition), and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN
- Meditech, PACU, and OR experience preferred
- No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care for a high-risk OB population including deliveries and surgical procedures
- Work independently as a self-starter while supporting fellow team members
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
