Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Cardiology Telemetry position requiring a strong cardiac background and an active MA RN license for night shift coverage.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit in a hospital setting
• Telemetry and cardiology-focused patient population
• Post-cath care procedures including PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation
• TR Band and femoral approach experience required
• RN-to-patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Charting performed in Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current AHA ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with a strong cardiac background
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Epic EMR experience
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions

• Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, post-cath care, and TR Band/femoral approach care
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and will receive a reduced pay rate
• Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 daily, and public transportation is available
