Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist in Dallas, TX, with at least 1 year of experience in Cath/EP cases and required ARRT or RCIS certification.
Details
- Cardiac catheterization lab setting at an acute care hospital in Dallas, TX
- Performs cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and electrophysiology procedures
- 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
- Rotating after-hours on-call required, including a mandatory Sunday rotation
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Texas Medical Radiologic License required — license required if applicable
- 2 supervisory references from within the last year required for consideration
- Proof of taxable address required for consideration (Driver's License, Utility Bill, Lease/Rental Agreement, or similar documentation)
- Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc.) or dedicated Cath/EP Lab is preferred
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred
Additional Information
- Conducts specialized cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology examinations
- Serves as a lead resource for medical and clinical staff during procedures
- Collaborates with the intra-procedure team and participates in Universal Protocol and site marking identification
- Responsible for equipment maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance recordkeeping
- Expected to identify process improvements and contribute to department goals
- Candidates must disclose any previous employment history at this facility
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
- Previous Parkland employment history must be disclosed
