Description
American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist with 4 years of experience and ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN for a 13-week travel contract in Salem, OR.
Details
- General ultrasound unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to perform OB ultrasound is required
- Variable Day/Swing shift hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Variable Swing/Overnight shift hours ranging from 12:00 PM to 5:30 AM
- 4x10 hour shifts
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no radius requirement
- May float to a nearby sister hospital
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Travel experience required
- BLS certification from the AHA required
- Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required (permanent or temporary) — license required if applicable
- ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN required
- Epic EMR experience required
- COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred
- Proficiency with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, and film processors
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified after submission; additional requests may result in cancellation
- 13-week minimum contract length; longer contracts may be available
