Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist with 4 years of experience and ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN for a 13-week travel contract in Salem, OR.

Details

  • General ultrasound unit in an acute care hospital setting
  • Ability to perform OB ultrasound is required
  • Variable Day/Swing shift hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM
  • Variable Swing/Overnight shift hours ranging from 12:00 PM to 5:30 AM
  • 4x10 hour shifts
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no radius requirement
  • May float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Travel experience required
  • BLS certification from the AHA required
  • Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required (permanent or temporary) — license required if applicable
  • ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred
  • Proficiency with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, and film processors

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
  • RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified after submission; additional requests may result in cancellation
  • 13-week minimum contract length; longer contracts may be available
