Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, with a focus on heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures requiring an active IL RN license.

Details

Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
Specializes in heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures
10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830)
Day shift schedule
On-call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month minimum, with potential for additional call based on departmental need
Floating to other facilities within the health system may be required

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license required
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
Accurate and complete medical record documentation is expected
Participation in continuing education is expected
This is a 13-week contract
