Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology (HOPE Women's Cancer Centers) position with 2+ years of experience and an active ONC certification required.

Details

  • Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 8-week contract
  • Oncology unit within a large, 815-bed acute care hospital in Asheville, NC
  • Facility is recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals (Healthgrades, 2020–2023) and holds Magnet® Designation for nursing excellence
  • Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III NICU on site

Requirements

  • Active RN license — NC or Compact license required
  • Current BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted); no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
  • Oncology Nurse Certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in Oncology
  • Minimum 2+ years of recent RN experience in Oncology required
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
  • First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2+ years of specialty experience is required
