Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Hickory, NC at a 355-bed Duke LifePoint hospital.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab at a 355-bed Duke LifePoint hospital with specialty centers including a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, and Level 3 NICU
- Various patient population served
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Float requirements within clinical scope per facility policy
- EMR: Cerner
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing plan of care interventions, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
- Documents patient care and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers, discharge, and referrals
- Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance
- Scrubs are provided
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
