Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Hickory, NC at a 355-bed Duke LifePoint hospital.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab at a 355-bed Duke LifePoint hospital with specialty centers including a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, and Level 3 NICU
• Various patient population served
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Float requirements within clinical scope per facility policy
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing plan of care interventions, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Documents patient care and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers, discharge, and referrals
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance
• Scrubs are provided
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
