Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of permanent specialty experience.

Details

• Large academic hospital setting in Cleveland, OH
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential to float to other units and the ED for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night schedule: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift schedule may vary based on operational needs, though preferred shift will be honored when possible
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required (travel experience counts toward this requirement)
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and passing scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location through American Traveler
• Two professional references are required for consideration
