Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and a valid NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
- Current BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses patient needs and conditions to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Administers medications and treatments as part of comprehensive patient care
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions and adjusts care plans as needed
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning
- Maintains accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- All RNs must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
