Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a CT Scan department in McKinney, TX, requiring 2+ years of recent CT and X-ray experience along with ARRT (CT/RAD) certification.

Details

• CT Scan department in a 260-bed acute care hospital in McKinney, TX
• GE CT equipment used
• Night shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with every other Thursday included
• Weekly hours alternate between 36 hours and 48 hours depending on the Thursday rotation
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT and X-ray experience required
• Active ARRT certification (CT/RAD) required
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure required; license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Dress code requires steel gray scrubs
• Nail policy prohibits artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails; nails must be clean and healthy
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Visible body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• On-call and holiday expectations to be discussed during the interview
