Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a combo Cath Lab, IR, and Vascular unit requiring proficiency in scrubbing, monitoring, and call coverage.

Details

• Combo Cath Lab, IR, and Vascular unit that also performs device procedures
• 3-person procedure team consisting of 2 Techs and 1 RN, consistent for both scheduled procedures and call
• Technologist is expected to scrub and monitor across all procedure modalities
• Equipment includes 2 Philips Cath Labs (Azurion and Allura) and Mac Lab Hemodynamic system
• Medhost EHR
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call coverage is required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• One of the following certifications required: RCIS from CCI, Cardiographic Tech specializing in EP from CCI, or ARRT (Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography)
• ACLS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with cardiovascular procedures, vitals and rhythm monitoring, anticipating physician needs, maintaining aseptic/sterile technique, and providing patient education on post-procedure care
• Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate — the number of qualifying miles varies by state
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
