Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position in a hospital-based CT department embedded within a large ER, requiring a minimum of 3 years of independent CT experience and ARRT certification with NY state licensure.
Details
- CT department is located inside a 40+ bed Emergency Room
- Patient population consists primarily of ER patients, with some ICU and inpatient cases
- All CT scans performed except cardiac
- Operates a Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner
- Uses Epic EMR (EMH Epic)
- Sunday through Thursday night shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Holiday coverage required for Labor Day (9/6)
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–4 years of CT Technologist experience
- Must be 100% independent and competent in all CT scans (excluding cardiac)
- ARRT certification required
- New York state license with IV injection authorization required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- References required for consideration
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Works independently alongside an imaging aide to perform all CT scans
- Local candidates are accepted for this position in New York
