Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient rehab assignment at a Level 1 Trauma facility, with Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- No floating requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- New graduates will be considered
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and adjusting individualized plans of care, and documenting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary medical team throughout the rehabilitation process, including discharge planning and equipment recommendations
- Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Utilizes standardized outcomes measures to accurately reflect functional performance
- Candidate interviews are conducted by facility leadership
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not be on continuous assignment for more than 1 year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning after reaching the 1-year mark
