Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and experience in both cath lab and interventional radiology procedures.
Details
- Work in a cath lab/IR setting within a 360-bed acute care Level II Trauma hospital
- Caseload of 8–12 cases
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call is required, running approximately 7–10 days per month
- STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
- One full weekend of call required per month
- No floating to other units required
- Charting in Cerner and McKesson
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- ARRT certification required; RCIS accepted if candidate has IR experience
- MD state license required if applicable
- IR experience required for RCIS candidates
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Facility has a strict no-tobacco policy and screens for nicotine and cotinine — candidates who use any form of nicotine (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) are not eligible for this position
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Parking is available in the patient/visitor parking garage at no cost to the traveler
