Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience and ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in a CT department at an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital
• Equipment includes Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
• Charting performed in Epic
• Daily caseload varies by shift and location
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Saturday through Monday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) required
• Siemens CT scanner experience required
• SC state license required; must be in hand at time of start — license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered with relevant prior experience

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates (within 60 miles) may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility in this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is subject to manager and unit needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
• Parking on nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 parking pass payment
