Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience and ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in a CT department at an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital
- Equipment includes Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
- Charting performed in Epic
- Daily caseload varies by shift and location
- 3x12-hour day shifts, Saturday through Monday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Holiday rotation required
- No on-call requirement
- Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
- Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) required
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- SC state license required; must be in hand at time of start — license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered with relevant prior experience
Additional Information
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates (within 60 miles) may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility in this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is subject to manager and unit needs
- Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
- Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
- Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
- Parking on nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 parking pass payment
