Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center position requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in a large OR suite consisting of 41 operating rooms within a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts with a 6:45 AM start; occasional float to 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM starts
- Occasional float to nights, no more than 3 shifts per contract
- Float required to other OR suites within the same health system
- Weekend availability required per unit needs
- On-call required per unit needs, approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule period
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates who have previously completed a full-year assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before being rebooked
- Up to 10 RTO days may be approved; RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, and October 25–November 4
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay structure
