Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVOR/OR position at an academic medical center in Vermont, requiring a VT or compact RN license and cardiovascular OR experience.

  • Work setting is a hospital OR unit specializing in cardiovascular surgery (CVOR)
  • 13-week contract
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (day/evening)

Requirements

  • Active VT RN license or compact RN license required; candidates without a VT license will be considered (licensure application must be initiated promptly upon acceptance)
  • NY-licensed candidates will be considered with proof of pending NY license
  • Prior CVOR/cardiovascular OR nursing experience required
  • At least two references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required, with one from the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • This is an academic medical center environment
  • Personal vehicle required as public transportation is not accessible near the facility
