Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and multiple AHA certifications including TNCC and ENPC.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730, three days per week, 36 hours per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CO Single State or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS — all must be active and not expire prior to start date
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Executes delegated medical functions and reviews treatment plans in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Candidates who have previously worked permanently at any Intermountain facility must have a separation of at least one year to be eligible
