Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring C-EFM, BLS, and NRP certifications, with at least 3 years of L&D experience and a minimum of one prior travel assignment completed.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• On-call requirement of 8 hours per 6-week scheduling period
• Orientation begins on Mondays
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: C-EFM (through NCC), BLS, and NRP — all must be current at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of L&D RN experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment must have been completed

• Laboring nurses are expected to take postpartum patients as needed

• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required
