Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or Compact license, TNCC, and rotating mid-shift availability including some weekends.
Details
- General ED setting treating both adult and pediatric patients
- Patient ratio of 3-4:1
- Rotating mid shifts on a 4x12 schedule: 9:00 AM–9:00 PM and 12:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Some weekend shifts required
- Floating required between two ED locations (South and Downtown), which are less than 10 minutes apart
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS, BLS, and NRP (NRP may be obtained after start date)
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred
- Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
