Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CV Tech (Cardiac Cath Lab) with 2+ years of experience, including at least 1 recent year of EP experience, for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, NC.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting on the 2nd floor of a hospital with 5 procedure rooms and a staff of 25
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart procedures
• Equipment includes X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox
• EMR: Cerner
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call coverage every 5th weekend, Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• At least 1 recent year of EP experience required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required for tech positions
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Active license required if applicable
• Must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if candidate is based in Florida or Missouri)

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Surgical green scrubs required
