Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a travel contract in Kentucky, working a rotating 36/48-hour biweekly schedule of Friday–Sunday shifts.

Details

• CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting
• Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–10:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Rotating 36/48-hour biweekly schedule — alternating between 3x12 and 4x12 hours per week
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Uses GE equipment and PACS system
• Meditech EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech or X-Ray Tech
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active KY state license or compact license required; candidates willing to apply for KY licensure upon offer will be considered — license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS required
• Experience with GE equipment and PACS required
• Driver's License matching permanent address required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 supervisor, both completed within the last year
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Candidates must be willing and able to accept the rotating 36/48-hour biweekly schedule — those unable to commit to this schedule may be cancelled
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; all RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
• Holiday coverage is required — travelers must work either a major or minor holiday each holiday period
• Travelers who have worked at this facility for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
• Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
• This facility accepts travel pairs, though pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
• Middle name is required; confirmation must be provided if the candidate does not have one
