Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC) position requiring mid-to-large hospital experience and comfort managing post-open heart surgery patients.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC) in a mid-to-large hospital setting
- Cares for patients including those up to 2 days post open heart surgery
- Experience with IV drip management required
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior PCU or IMC nursing experience required
- Experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (based on permanent address)
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include monitoring and caring for intermediate-acuity patients, including post-cardiac surgery cases, and managing vasoactive or specialty drips
