Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience, prior travel experience, and on-call availability including weekends.

Details

10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4 shifts per week
On-call required, including weekends
Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
Hospital-based endoscopy unit
EMR: Epic
Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the main facility

Requirements

Active FL or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
Epic EMR experience preferred
Candidate's driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment
Full DOB, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration

Additional Information

Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID issuance
Travelers are expected to function as core staff members and integrate into the unit culture
All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after that point
Block scheduling requests are not accepted
Interviews include a prescreen interview followed by a final interview with the manager
