Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience, prior travel experience, and on-call availability including weekends.

Details

  • 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4 shifts per week
  • On-call required, including weekends
  • Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
  • Hospital-based endoscopy unit
  • EMR: Epic
  • Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the main facility

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Candidate's driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
  • Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment
  • Full DOB, SSN, and RN license number required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID issuance
  • Travelers are expected to function as core staff members and integrate into the unit culture
  • All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after that point
  • Block scheduling requests are not accepted
  • Interviews include a prescreen interview followed by a final interview with the manager
