Description

American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract at an acute care teaching hospital in Minnesota, requiring at least 2 years of oncology experience and active ONS/ONCC certification.

Details

• Acute care teaching hospital setting (Level 3 Trauma, Magnet status not specified)
• Oncology unit with chemotherapy-certified nursing care
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Charts in Epic (Excellian); experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Chemotherapy certification through ONS or ONCC required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

• Candidates who previously worked at this health system as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months before being eligible
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the first day of the assignment
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred for this assignment
• Local candidates (within 100 miles of the facility) are not accepted for this position
