Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts per week
- 40 hours per week
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as appropriate — all must not expire prior to start date
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for OR patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, consultation, delegation, and supervision of care
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
- Two professional references required for consideration
