Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/IR position requiring 2+ years of experience, SC licensure, and a 50-mile radius restriction.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) setting, including work in the IR holding department
• Adult patient population with a variety of cardiac and vascular disease processes
• Procedural area with pre- and post-procedure care responsibilities
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 4x9-hour shifts with occasional 5x8-hour shifts as needed
• Rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call required
• Required skills include IV insertion, circulating, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Hemodynamic monitoring and PACS experience preferred
• Meditech EMR in use

Requirements

• Active SC RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or relevant procedural RN experience required
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
• Candidates with background hits or licensure actions will not be considered
• TB screening required
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Provides nursing care for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, including pre- and post-procedure management
• Holiday call coverage is required on a rotating basis
