Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/IR position requiring 2+ years of experience, SC licensure, and a 50-mile radius restriction.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) setting, including work in the IR holding department
- Adult patient population with a variety of cardiac and vascular disease processes
- Procedural area with pre- and post-procedure care responsibilities
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 4x9-hour shifts with occasional 5x8-hour shifts as needed
- Rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call required
- Required skills include IV insertion, circulating, telemetry, and conscious sedation
- Hemodynamic monitoring and PACS experience preferred
- Meditech EMR in use
Requirements
- Active SC RN license (Standard or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or relevant procedural RN experience required
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
- Candidates with background hits or licensure actions will not be considered
- TB screening required
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

- Two professional references required for consideration
- Provides nursing care for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, including pre- and post-procedure management
- Holiday call coverage is required on a rotating basis
