Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery travel assignment requiring prior travel experience and multiple specialized certifications including C-EFM, NRP, and STABLE.
Details
- High-risk Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- On-call required: 36 hours per 6-week period (12 hours per pay period); must be on-site within 45 minutes of receiving a call
- Floating required within skillset, including Mom/Baby and postpartum units
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM (through NCC)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
- High-risk L&D experience required
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Skills required: circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and preceptor and/or charge experience
- Triage experience preferred
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — at least one prior travel assignment is required
