Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III Neonatal ICU position at an acute care teaching hospital, requiring at least 3 years of experience and NRP certification.

Details

• Level III NICU within an acute care teaching hospital with 244 staffed beds
• Cares for premature infants as young as 22-23 weeks gestation; patients requiring surgery, ECMO, or certain specialty services are transferred to a Level IV facility
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Respiratory support modalities include HFNC, BCPAP, Drager Ventilation, HFOV, and Jet Ventilators; Total Body Cooling is also provided in-unit
• NICU nurses are expected to attend deliveries for preterm or high-risk patients
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to Pediatrics and Mother/Baby units at the same hospital, as well as to the NICU at a sister facility
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licensure not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 3 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
