Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Charge RN for an Operating Room position requiring a strong OR skill set, particularly in ortho, neuro, and podiatry, with an active IL RN license.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Circulating RN role only — no scrubbing required
- Strong OR skill set required, with emphasis on orthopedic, neuro, and podiatry cases
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, with rotational call
- Shift times are either 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
- On-call is required on a rotational basis
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- AHA certifications required — RQI is not accepted
- Strong OR experience required, particularly in orthopedic, neuro, and podiatry procedures
- Charge Nurse experience preferred

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position — local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
