Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a Neuro unit, requiring 4 years of experience and active CPI certification.

Details

• Position is located on a 6th floor Neuro unit within a rehabilitation hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:30
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• Scheduling is not self-directed — candidates must be open to working any day of the week

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) — Prevention First certification required for Med/Surg RNs (30-minute on-demand video available at crisisprevention.com for approximately $25)
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• SSN (full preferred; last 4 acceptable), driver's license, and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• RTO requests should not exceed 7 days for the duration of the contract
• Previously employed Tenet Healthcare staff must obtain MSP approval prior to being considered for this position
