Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist at a Level IV Trauma Critical Access Hospital, with night shifts and on-call requirements, open to first-time travelers.

Details

• Acute care medical center with long-term care and outpatient services, operating as a Level IV Trauma Critical Access Hospital with 46 acute care beds and 22 LTC beds
• CT Scan unit with cross-coverage required in X-ray within clinical scope
• Night shifts, 4x10-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM
• Weekends required for call coverage
• On-call required
• Block scheduling available upon request
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking on site

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (including rental car coverage) required prior to operating a facility-provided vehicle

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO is minimal; a few days may be approved but excessive RTO requests may impact consideration
• Facility provides housing (typically a 1-bedroom apartment) and a vehicle for use during the assignment
• Housing is available no earlier than 72 hours before contract start and must be vacated within 24 hours of contract end
• Pets are not permitted in facility-provided housing; additional occupants must be approved in advance
• Housing must be cleaned upon departure to avoid additional fees billed to the traveler
• Facility-provided vehicle is for local use only (within 30 miles of the facility) and may not be taken off-road
• Vehicle must be returned clean and with a full tank of gas; tire chains are available at an additional cost to the traveler
• Any color scrubs or business casual attire accepted
