Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a 250-bed academic community hospital in Danville, VA, requiring a minimum of 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience.

Details

  • Radiology department in a 250-bed academic community hospital designated as a Trauma Level III facility
  • Specialty area is diagnostic radiology with a mostly adult and geriatric patient population
  • Common cases include MVA, chest pain, abdominal pain, and back pain
  • GE equipment used; Meditech EHR
  • Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • No weekend hours, no call requirements, and no floating required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
  • ARRT certification required
  • AHA BLS (CPR) certification required
  • Proficiency in performing diagnostic x-ray exams
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic x-ray examinations across a general adult and geriatric radiology caseload
  • Consent to random drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form are required; drug screens are conducted on site
  • All required certifications must be obtained prior to start
  • Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
  • Any color scrubs are acceptable; graphic t-shirts are not permitted
  • Danville, VA is a charming river district community located approximately 45 miles north of Greensboro, NC, offering parks, trails, arts, and local culture
