Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilson, NC, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and CT registration at a Level II Trauma, Joint Commission Accredited hospital.

Details

• Work in the Radiology/CT Scan department of a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited, Level II Trauma hospital
• Serves an adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient population
• Uses GE CT equipment and Meditech EHR (experience preferred)
• Multiple shift options available: 1st shift Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 2nd shift 12:00 PM–10:00 PM, 3rd shift Mon–Thu 9:30 PM–8:00 AM, and weekend days Fri–Sun 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• On-call required every 4th weekend from Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM (applicable to 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and Mon–Fri day shift)
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience preferred
• CT registration required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Proficiency in IV insertion and 3D post-processing required
• Associate's degree required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Active licensure required if applicable

Additional Information

• 13-week assignment located in Wilson, NC, approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh
• Orientation is held bi-weekly
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; t-shirts must be worn with a lab coat
• Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills are preferred qualities
