Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring Level 1 trauma/surgical experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
- Adult trauma and surgical patient population
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- Experience in an adult trauma/surgical unit at a Level 1 facility required
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Trauma experience should be clearly noted in your work history
- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — requests made after submission will not be approved
