Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Radiation Oncology position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology unit in Denver, CO
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Hours may be subject to reduction during low census periods
• Charting is performed in Epic EMR
• 40 hours per week, 10 hours per day

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact license (compact licenses must be transferred to CO within 60 days of start)
• Current AHA BLS certification that does not expire prior to assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in oncology
• Radiation oncology experience preferred
• BSN required (candidates hired prior to 4/27/2025 may be held to prior minimum requirements; RNs with fewer than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, social, and psychological status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Delegate, coordinate, and direct interdisciplinary care team members as appropriate
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional standards
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• Physical demands include lifting, transferring, and ambulating patients, as well as prolonged standing and navigating busy care environments
