Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Radiation Oncology position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Located in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology unit in Denver, CO
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- Hours may be subject to reduction during low census periods
- Charting is performed in Epic EMR
- 40 hours per week, 10 hours per day
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact license (compact licenses must be transferred to CO within 60 days of start)
- Current AHA BLS certification that does not expire prior to assignment start
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in oncology
- Radiation oncology experience preferred
- BSN required (candidates hired prior to 4/27/2025 may be held to prior minimum requirements; RNs with fewer than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire)
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, social, and psychological status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Delegate, coordinate, and direct interdisciplinary care team members as appropriate
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
- Physical demands include lifting, transferring, and ambulating patients, as well as prolonged standing and navigating busy care environments
