Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and multiple active certifications including C-EFM, NRP, and STABLE.

Details

• Hospital Labor & Delivery unit focused on high-risk obstetric patients
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• On-call required: 36 hours per 6-week block (12 hours per pay period), with an on-premises response time of 45 minutes upon receiving a call
• Floating required within skillset, including Mom/Baby and postpartum units

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM (through NCC) — all must be current at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
• High-risk L&D experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Skills required: circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and experience as a preceptor and/or charge nurse
• Triage experience preferred
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• 13-week contract
